We are recruiting for a French Speaking Sales Support Executive for an industry leading, international company based in Ampthill (Bedfordshire).

The aim of this role will be to provide support to the sales team helping to achieve sales goals whilst providing high quality customer support.

This could be a fantastic route into a stable company for someone with strong sales support experience or a desire to be in a Sales and Customer Service environment.  

This position will be a full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm position, hybrid working is available with 4 days in and 1 remote (once training has been completed).

Duties to include:

• Provide timely responses to all customer’s questions on order status, operations, and logistics across all of Europe.
• Regular communication with customers and consumers requesting technical assistance and warranty information in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ownership of the entire ordering process to include order entry, warehouse communication, tracking of open orders, and managing inventory to ensure fulfilment of obligation.
• Coordinate all activities associated with order entry, booking, tracking, processing, and shipping customer purchase orders.
• Assist the EU sales team in the preparation of customer specification sheets, customer setup and presentation materials.
• Responsible for all sample requests, organisation, and tracking.
• Monitor online and in-store product listings for accounts, ensuring consistency in product descriptions, pricing, and imagery.
• Conduct competitive analysis to understand the market and key opportunities to differentiate product.
• Build strong relationships with the sales organisation to keep them informed and updated on customer communications, pricing, or promotional changes.
• Partner with the marketing team to support consumer and trade marketing activities in the EU and support end-to-end requirements of trade and consumer shows.
• Provide sales progress, sales metrics, data and for internal reporting and scheduled sales meetings.

Skills required:

• A strong desire to be in Sales and Customer service.
• One to two years’ experience within a customer service or sales support position.

• The ability to speak French AND English to a business fluent level is a must.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of working with EU retailers.
• Microsoft Office with strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
