Think Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be supporting a Client based in Hatfield for the recruitment of a Temporary Sales Ledger Clerk. This role is to start immediately and has the strong potential of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. 

They are seeking a motivated, numerate and detail orientated individual to work as a Sales Ledger Clerk. The role requires someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years experience working within a similar role and who is professional, a team player and natural problem solver.

This position reports to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, excellent organisation and a high standard of written communication is important.

Duties to include:

• Monitor and reconcile daily revenue from all outlets
• Investigate all discrepancies
• Prepare and post daily journals 
• Ensure all receipts are posted
• Raise and post invoices
• Effective Credit Control
• Prepare weekly debtors reports
• Handle all enquiries 
• Prepare monthly statements 
• Assist with month end tasks

Key Skills:

• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Self-start ability and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and basic Word and Excel skills.

The role would suit someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a sales ledger role.
