Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing IFA based within the Harrow area. Due to obtaining new business, our client are expanding their team, and looking for an experienced Administrator with previous Wealth Management/IFA support experience. This is a really friendly team with the flexibility for the right candidate to work both remotely and within the offices.
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
Some of the duties will include:
- Answering telephone calls as part of the wealth management team for incoming enquiries
- Working closely with PA to provide accurate and timely responses to clients
- Dealing with client general queries and all related administration
- Preparing meeting packs for Business Owner, in line with client service proposition
- Calling providers for up to date valuations/contributions/withdrawals for meeting packs
- Updating spreadsheets/checking calculations
- Processing switches & withdrawals, including switch follow up letters
- Liaising closely with Administration Centre to obtain details on client policies, as and when required
- Change of address management and update CRM accordingly
- Assisting clients in registering for online services, supporting PA where appropriate
- Working closely with Paraplanner to ensure all ID is up to date for clients
- Keeping clients updated on significant stages of their wealth management investment, liaising closely with Paraplanner and PA
- Using the internal intranet system to manage client basic enquiries
- Dealing with incoming post
- Assisting amongst the team as and when necessary
The suitable candidate:
- Well-presented and professional
- Prior and proven financial services administrative and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of financial products
- Good organisational abilities and to be able to work calmly under pressure
- Good written and verbal communicator
- Good attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach to their workload
- Enjoys working as part of a small team
