We are recruiting for a family owned company based in Aylesbury.  Having achieved significant and continuous growth over the last few years, an opportunity has arisen for a Payroll and HR Administrator. This role will be working across a minimum of 25 hours per week (ideally Monday to Friday).   The individual we are looking for will have had previous experience working in a HR Admin position and also managed end to end Payroll.

You will have strong attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking, able to work under own supervision and have a flexible approach to taking on all tasks to support the Directors and Management.

Overview of duties:

The role will include the following tasks;

• Processing two weekly payrolls for circa 70 employees
• Processing new starters and leavers
• Pension administration – NEST
• Raising contracts of employment
• Employee’s holiday management
• Supporting the Management Team in disciplinary matters
• Health and safety matters
• Developing the processes and procedures regarding HR
• Overseeing training programs to ensure compliance with CPC requirements
• Ensuring that all training / inductions etc. are fully documented

Essential experience

• Experience working within HR Admin
• Be up to date with all current legislations
• Be able to add value and improve/implement processes where necessary.
• Previous payroll experience (end to end payroll is essential)
• Excellent numeracy and accuracy
• Ideally some experience of Sage payroll
• Proficient IT skills - Microsoft products (Excel, Word)

There is flexibility as to start and finish times and number of days to accommodate the 25+ hours on the basis that time critical work is always accomplished to agreed parameters.

Experience of the above tasks will be of an advantage to applicants, though training and support can be provided to improve skills and knowledge where applicable. It is not essential to hold any HR qualifications, but you must have proven experience of working in a HR function completing HR Admin duties.
