Our client is looking to expand their team by taking on an experienced practice accountant who will directly support the team and a growing portfolio of clients. Ideally the role will be over 4 days a week and will suit someone who needs a part time role to work around their other commitments. It is expected that the applicant should have at least 5 years experience within a public practice and the successful candidate will join an existing team reporting to the Senior Partner.

Main duties include:

• Preparing full end to end accounts from client data and knowledge
• Use of Xero
• Payroll
• Corporation and personal tax.
• Profit and Loss Statements
• Preparing year-end file for audit and dealing with queries
• Presenting budgets and reports to upper management
• Be the first point of contact for all clients, ensuring all questions and queries are responded to in a timely manner
• VAT Returns
• Management Accounts
• Liaise with HMRC as required

Experience Required

• You must be qualified ACA/ACCA or Qualified by Experience with a minimum of 5 years experience within a Practice
• Be highly organised
• Xero experience
