Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Sales Ledger Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a private clinic based in Hemel Hempstead with excellent training and progression opportunities. You will be responsible for carrying out the revenue ledger functions for the business which include dealing with self-funding and privately insured debt and helping to establish best practice and processes for the organisation
The position holder is responsible for ensuring invoices are collected within the agreed payment terms, the production of accurate and timely reconciliation and dealing with invoice queries while complying with company policies and procedures to ensure that a high level of customer service is upheld at all time.
9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Duties:
- Responsible for all company revenue, including allocating payments in Lumeon and sending out weekly statements and invoices.
- Resolving invoice and billing queries and referring internally for timely resolution.
- Process invoices
- Undertake the bank reconciliation for customer receipts and resolve unallocated cash balances on a timely manner
- Allocate payments from individuals, dealing with queries and chasing individual debt.
- Resolve external stakeholder queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with month end close including posting of journals
- Support the Financial Controller to assist with the smooth running of the Finance department.
- Undertake a review of revenue and cash reconciliations.
- Undertake a weekly review of the debtor schedule by type.
- Participate in a monthly progress review with the Financial Controller & Finance VP
Candidate requirements:
- Part qualified or studying towards AAT (or similar finance qualification)
- General bookkeeping experience
- Experience in Accounts Receivable
- Working knowledge and high level of competency MS Excel and Word. (which include but not limit to, create documents, copy & Paste, grouping, totaling, printing documents, PIVOT, Vlookup, sumifs etc.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident Communicator
- High levels of engagement
