Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based within the St Albans area. This successful and growing company have an exciting opportunity for a Buying and Stock Control Assistant to join their team. This position would suit someone who has worked within a similar role, good Excel skills, as well as good administration experience.

Salary - £23-26k plus some great company benefits
Must be a driver due to location

Some of the duties will include:

• Assist the buying and stock controller with the smooth running of the department
• Place purchase orders with factories
• Liaise with all factories to ensure any special instructions have been implemented 
• Assist with ensuring all purchase orders are raised at the correct prices 
• Assisting with stock management and reporting 
• Assist with creating and issuing stock and buying reports 
• Assist with analysing stock levels 
• Assist with product item number creation 
• Liaise with third party warehouse as required 
• Coordinate with the US buying team 
• Other administrative duties as required 

The suitable candidate:

• Previous experience within an administrative or similar role 
• Good Excel skills 
• High level of attention to detail 
• Strong organisational skills 
• Great communication skills 
• Able to work well as part of a team
