Think Accountancy and Finance are working with a business in Hemel Hempstead to source a Temporary Financial Accountant to join them for 3-4 months in the new year.

Are you a Qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant?

Do you have SAP experience?

The role will focus on supporting Senior Finance team members in the provision of effective and efficient management accounting information for all areas of UK VAT.

Key duties will include:

• Month end SAP reporting
• Preparing and posting journals
• Reconciliations
• Actuals and variances against budget/forecasts
• Assist in budget and forecast preparation
• Work with key stakeholders and provide monthly reports as required
• Assist with year end statutory accounts
• Lead in all areas of UK VAT
• Drive processes toward best practices
• Assist in the improvements of the finance teams systems and procedures

This is a temporary role for 3-4 months and will be paying £190-£210 a day PAYE.

The client is looking for someone who is Qualified or nearly Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will have substantial experience regarding VAT and experience working in a multinational company. SAP experience is essential for candidates applying to have so please include this on your CV.

Interviews will take place the first week of January.
