I am recruiting for a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Berkhamsted who are looking for someone to join them in their customer service and internal sales team as an Internal Account Manager to provide support to the wider customer service team and outside sales team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has good people and customer skills that would like to step up into a role within a growing company and work somewhere that has good values, offers fantastic training and support, a great working environment and supportive team.

This is a permanent role which is paying up to £28,000 depending on candidate experience, please note that this is not a ‘hard sales’ role, someone that wants to provide customer accounts with a great service and build up relationships but also deal with them for orders and making sales would be ideal.

This role is based in Berkhamsted, this is a Monday to Friday position, hours are 8.30am to 5pm (30-minute lunch). The company offer a number of fantastic benefits including free on-site parking, opportunity for progression, excellent pension scheme and much more!

Duties will include:

• Responsible for managing customer accounts and providing them with the best level of service.
• First point of contact for any calls/emails from accounts in relation to placing an order, requesting quotation etc.
• Supporting the outside sales team and raising quotations when required.

Candidate skills: 

• Experience in dealing with customers and accounts, building relationships, or working in a sales environment.
• You will need to be a driven and focussed individual.
• A great communicator.
• A very good telephone manner is a necessity.
