Think Accountancy and Finance are working with a Practice in Hertford who are now looking to build their team with an experienced Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join their firm.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join a group of business advisors and accountants who deliver a wide range of bespoke support and advice to business owners and businesses.

The practice is growing at quite a pace, so they need a new Accountant with strong Practice experience.

Our client will look at someone who part or fully qualified in ACA/ACCA.

Main duties include:

• Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
• Supervising and mentoring the junior team members
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Exposure to working on audit assignments
• Preparing full set of accounts from raw data
• Service charge accounts
• Payroll
• Profit and Loss Statements
• Be the first point of contact for all clients, ensuring all questions and queries are responded to in a timely manner
• VAT Returns
• Liaise with HMRC as required

This is a great opportunity for someone with the relevant experience and looking to continue their career in practice. If you have previously worked in practice and looking to return then this could also be considered.

The role will be split between working on client portfolios (85%) and the managing the workflow of the team (15%).
