Think Accountancy and Finance are looking to speak to Financial Controllers who can add value and overall responsibility for the full finance cycle in the UK.

The business is growing consistently year on year, and this candidate will need to put in strong finance processes in line with the growth trajectory.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Controller who is also happy to be hands on with the day-to-day responsibilities. Some travel to their other site will be required on a weekly basis and it should be noted that this role will be full time in the office. Their main site is based in Berkhamsted This role offers someone the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the company and to work closely with Operations to achieve their targeted growth for the next financial year. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all company accounts
• Monthly and Quarterly reporting
• Cash flow reporting
• Implement process improvement
• Management Accounts
• Financial Reporting
• Budgeting
• Producing detailed reports for the Board
• Supervise, develop and manage the finance team
• Year end Statutory Accounts
• Oversee the Audit

Candidate required experience:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience of working in a Senior Finance position in a manufacturing business
• Strong people management experience
• Strategic and commercial acumen
• Business Change Management
• Good ERP systems experience
• P&L and Balance Sheet experience.
• Solution focused
• Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

The business has gone through a period of change and growth, so this role is essential to supporting the MD and CFO as they continue to grow and implement their next steps for the business.
