Think Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with an incredible business in Bicester. Think A&F have a long-standing relationship with the Finance Director and are looking to find their number two in Finance to start as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be technically strong and will have career experience in both practice and industry. For this position we are looking for a Qualified Accountant who will manage the day to day finances and be hands on in their approach. There is an element of progression in this position in taking on additional responsibility in the coming months.

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

• Posting / overseeing monthly bookkeeping entries
• Delivering monthly management accounts
• Providing analysis against budget
• Handling quarterly VAT reporting
• Being a point of contact for the external auditor
• Managing AP and AR processes
• Liaising with Finance Director on statutory reporting
• Continually refining accounting and business processes
• Supporting FD with the line management of finance team

Key Skills / Experience:

• Qualified Accountant
• An excellent understanding of statutory, financial and management reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
• Experience in managing a team
• Excellent professional communication and strong relationship building skills
• Solid Technical Accounts background
• Hands on
