Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading organisation within the Hemel Hempstead area. This position will suit somebody who is looking for solely purchase ledger and also enjoys working within a team environment. 

The Position:

• Fast and accurate entry of supplier invoices
• Pro-active management of a large portfolio of supplier accounts
• Verification of invoices including price and quantity checks
• Collation of all relevant backup documentation and approvals including ensuring costs have been charged on to customers where appropriate
• Negotiating credits where needed, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries
• Resolving queries with suppliers and internal contacts
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts to statement
• Preparation of supplier payments within deadlines
• Resolving queries with department managers

The Suitable Candidate: 
 

• Previous Purchase Ledger / Data entry experience in a high volume environment
• Use of MS Office programs – excel, word, outlook
• The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure, with efficiency and accuracy
• A personable individual with excellent administration and organisation skills
• Confident, possessing an excellent telephone manner with clear and concise communication skills both verbally and written, as well as face to face
