8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Duties:

• Preparation of payments for stock suppliers
• Investigation of unpaid invoices
• Reconciliation of payables ledger against supplier statements
• Checking and authorisation of stock invoices against internal rules
• Requesting approval for invoices which fall out of these rules
• Limited debt chasing for dealers who payments are being made to
• Managing suppliers and internal employees’ expectations to payment processes
• Support for the financial controller in relation to any other ad-hoc projects and requests

Candidate requirements:

• Good underlying knowledge of core accountancy practices and principles
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
• Strong numerical skills
• Experience working in a finance/accountancy role advantageous
• Proficient with MS Excel
• Clear and effective written communication skills
• A commitment to high standards of customer service
• A team player focused on achieving department goals
