We are working with the UK head office (Hemel Hempstead) of an extremely exciting global business who are at the forefront of their sector; a well-known, modern and futuristic brand seen across the UK and worldwide.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month period for the start of the new financial year, with the potential of a permanent position being a possibility too if of interest.

Before applying, please note that prior experience in Accounts Payable or another finance based role is essential, as is the ability to work on MS Word and Excel. Any experience using SAP or E-Invoicing would be very preferential as well but not a requirement.

Overview of duties:

• Process trade and service suppliers' invoices on time, using internal E-invoicing application and accurately in accordance, with the company's trading policies and EU VAT regulation. This includes open items check, coding, verifying & posting of invoices, creation of payment proposals and filing of invoices.
• Code and post invoices that are not processed through internal E-invoicing application.
• Assist in scanning hard copy invoices received.
• Act as main contact for vendors with regards to overdue invoices.
• Assist in monthly closing process.
• Reconcile Vendor statements to Ledger.
• Perform administrative tasks according to set policies and procedures and maintain up-to-date filing and reference systems.
• Perform payment runs.

Experience needed:

• Good administration skills - Preferably within a finance capacity.
• Good telephone and communication skills.
• Must be a strong invoice processor.
• Preferably have a knowledge of SAP in a finance capacity.
• Intermediate Excel skills (able to export, sort, sum, perform v-looks and create pivot tables).
