We are currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join one of our leading clients for a 2-3 month temporary assignment. The successful candidate will join a medium sized team within our clients vibrant and friendly head office. This role will offer the right candidate an outstanding opportunity to work for a highly reputable company that operates well known brands, and take advantage of the high level of training and investment that will be on offer.

Duties to include:

• Reporting directly to the Purchasing Team Leader
• To work along side and support the needs of the Purchasing Team
• To sort and cleanse data exported by cloud based spend systems
• To produce advanced level reports with the use of excel and similar in house systems

Candidate Requirements:

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Accurate data entry
• High level of initiative and self motivation
• Good communication skills and confidence to communicate effectively across a team
• An approachable and supportive character
• Experience in purchasing is desirable - not essential!
• This role is suitable for a graduate that has an analytical mind
