We have an exciting Assistant Brand Marketing Manager position working for one of our leading clients in Hemel Hempstead. This temporary opportunity will bring with it the responsibility of a wide range of marketing projects to drive the brand forward. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Marketing candidate and help shape this inspiring business. Initially this role will be on a 3 month temp basis with the potential to be extended.
We are seeking a hands on candidate to support the Head of Marketing with all aspects of marketing, to include planning, implementing and evaluating a wide range of marketing campaigns. Candidates must have strong all round marketing experience along with the ability to manage multiple projects!
Overview of duties:
- Deliver a bi-annual presentation to Head of Marketing and Senior Management Team on market, service, industry trends – recommending new services/packages/directions that support key marketing/business objectives with the potential to deliver a high return on investment
- Plan, develop and run focus groups with both internal and external stakeholders, with and without the support our Marketing agency – depending on scope/need
- Support the development and implementation of the Brand, Communications and PR strategies
- Develop and manage website content,to reflect business changes while helping to develop long term SEO (e.g. news service, blogs, articles and backlinks)
- Responsible for the delivery and stock management of all branded literature- business cards to service leaflets & plans, registration forms and brand brochures
- Support the development and delivery of internal and external marcomms plans, e.g. newsletters/intranet
- Support the Head of Marketing and PR agency in the development and implementation of an annual PR calendar/s to support key disciplines throughout the business.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver key PR projects, to include implementation and delivery of CSR projects and events
- Planning and implementation of all Marketing led company events
- Preparation & delivery of key materials for meetings, such as; documents, reports, presentations, creative
- Responsible for compiling agendas and minutes for key meetings
- Working alongside Head of Marketing in the briefing and management of agencies (e.g., PR, Marketing, Digital and Research)
- Ensure effective copy writing and proof reading of all communications materials
- Take responsibility for planning, developing and implementing key projects as lead by the Head of Marketing
- Provide support to the Head of Marketing in all aspects of marketing
- To act as brand guardian and demonstrate a positive commitment to values in all aspects of work
- To work flexibly as part of the team and to undertake any other relevant duties as required in the post
Candidate requirements:
- Effective development and efficient delivery of successful brand, promotional, digital (web, social media) and PR projects
- Strong copy writer with excellent spelling and understanding of grammar
- Campaign measurement/analysis/ROI
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Inquisitive, strategic thinker able to think ‘outside the box’
- Creatively adept with a good eye for design and high attention to detail
- Able to multitask, prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines
- Proactive self-starter passionate about marketing and enjoys working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Remains calm and positive under pressure with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude
