Think Specialist Recruitment is working with a global market leader whose UK head office is based in St Albans. Our client works with some of the most prestigious brands and products within their industry which are recognisable worldwide.

Based in the open plan, vibrant office in the heart of St Albans, you will be offering 1^st and 2^nd line IT support to internal and external sources. This will range from basic hardware and software through to applications and server issues. For this role you will need to have a strong understanding of administrating Windows, a technical background (IP, Routing, VPN, phone systems etc) and it is essential to offer fantastic customer service at all times.

Duties to include:

• Providing first and second line support to users in head office and sites in the field
• Completing server-side administration tasks such as user/security backup
• Maintaining communication links within the corporate networks
• Installing and configuring Windows PCs and IOS mobile devices
• Liaising with internal departments around the world
• Offering basic repairs when required
• Working closely with various sites around London (including potentially travelling into London frequently to visit sites)
• Ensuring first class customer service is delivered at all times

 
Candidate requirements:

• Good knowledge of Windows and experience in supporting end users
• Solid technical knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely
• Be analytical with good problem solving skills
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Possess fantastic communication skills
